FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a liquid household chemical composition comprising (a) a mixed hydrophobically modified cationogenic polysaccharide comprising a polysaccharide backbone chain, having at least one cationic group and substituted with at least one short chain-possessing hydrophobic C3-C8-group and at least one long-chain hydrophobic C9-C24-group, wherein the mixed hydrophobically modified cationogenic polysaccharide contains from 0.1 to 2.0 wt % long-chain hydrophobic C9-C24-groups and from 1 to 10 wt % short-chain hydrophobic C3-C8-groups; (b) at least one surfactant; and (c) at least one additional agent selected from a group comprising auxiliary detergent agents or additives for improving detergent action, auxiliary cleaning agents, acid cleaning agents, metal chelating agents, calcium binding agents, hydrotropic agents, bleaching agents, abrasives, biocidal or antimicrobial agents, corrosion inhibitors, enzymes, anti-reprecipitation agents, dye transfer inhibiting agents, and dirt-repellent agents, where the liquid household chemical composition is a transparent single-phase liquid, wherein the polysaccharide backbone is soluble in water or insoluble in water and is a cellulose ether.

EFFECT: liquid household chemical composition is a single-phase pure clear liquid.
