FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an energy-saving, balanced mechanism for transmitting rotational motion received from an external source. For example, if the rotational motion is transmitted to first gear (12) through a motor, second gear (22) will rotate in the opposite direction, and eccentric members (14, 24) will rotate in opposite directions with respect to each other. Claimed mechanism is balanced, which significantly reduces the amount of energy needed to ensure the rotation of units (10 and 20). Balancing of the eccentric members and the centrifugal forces that they generate can reduce the amount of energy needed to rotate the gears and eccentric members. Rotation becomes easier as the centrifugal forces increase. Rotary machine and a method of using an energy saving mechanism are also disclosed.
EFFECT: object of the present invention is to provide a mechanism that saves energy and improves the efficiency of a rotary machine.
