FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electroplating and can be used for the production of corrosion-resistant coatings on load-bearing structures of on-board radio electronic equipment for aircraft and spacecraft. Method comprises the formation of an electrochemical system consisting of an anode – treated carrier structure, an aqueous solution for conducting microarc oxidation (MAO), a cathode, passing a pulsed electric current through this system and forming a protective coating in the MAO regime in two stages, using different solutions and regimes at each stage. Protective coating made on the surface of the said support structure, comprises two layers, the first being an inner layer containing tungsten compounds, when the concentration of tungsten in the layer is 2 to 5 wt. %, and the second layer being an external layer, containing manganese oxides, wherein the concentration of manganese in the second layer is 1.6 to 3 wt. %. Bearing structure of on-board radio electronic equipment for aircraft and spacecraft, made of magnesium or magnesium alloys, having the protective coating mentioned above.
EFFECT: production of a corrosion-resistant protective non-metallic inorganic coating having electrical insulating and antistatic properties and performing protective functions with respect to cosmic radiation, which is charged particle fluxes.
