SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for generating an audio signal. Plurality of input channel signals is received, including an input channel signal providing a sense of elevation of the sound source. Plurality of output signals is generated to simulate the sound generated by raising the actual position of the plurality of speakers by filtering using a filter based on the transfer function of the human hearing aid, and applying panning gains with respect to the input channel signal, providing a sense of elevation of the sound source. Panning gains are applied based on the frequency range and the type of signal of the input channel, providing the sense of elevation of the sound source. Said plurality of output signals is output through the plurality of speakers arranged in a horizontal plane.

EFFECT: technical result consists in generation and providing audio signals that form a sound field having a plane wave.
