METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR TREATING PUMPED STREAM AND USE OF SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC C02F1/48 C02F11/04 C12P5/02 B63J4/00

Abstract RU 2676976 C2

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the treatment of a pumped stream and can be used in water treatment, as well as in the food industry. Method of treating a pumped stream includes filtering to separate a liquid phase from the pumped stream to obtain one stream with a high content of a dense phase and another stream with a high content of liquid, subsequent treatment of the stream with a high content of dense phase with high voltage pulses in a pulsed electric field unit (PEF unit), fermenting the stream with a high content of dense phase, after which said stream is treated with high voltage pulses in the PEF unit. Alternatively, the method of treating a pumped stream includes sanitary and hygienic treatment of at least a part of the pumped stream in an IR chamber, and also sanitary and hygienic treatment of at least part of the pumped stream in the PEF unit. Sanitary-hygienic treatment in the IR camera can be performed before or after or both before and after treatment with high voltage pulses in the PEF unit. System for treating a pumped stream comprises a first module comprising at least one filter, a second module containing at least one PEF unit for treatment with high voltage pulses; as well as a fermentation module. Alternatively, the system for treating a pumped stream comprises at least one module of sanitary and hygienic treatment, comprising an IR camber, one module containing at least a PEF unit for high voltage pulse treatment. Said system is used to treat pumped food. Systems are also used to treat a stream of ballast water by applying high voltage pulses in the PEF unit to a separated stream having a higher dense phase content compared to the ballast water stream. Alternatively, the systems are used to treat a pumped stream via exposure to high voltage pulses in the PEF unit into a separated stream having a higher content of the dense phase compared to the pumped stream and for subsequent fermentation of the stream with a higher content of the dense phase after its treatment with high voltage pulses.

EFFECT: group of inventions speeds up biological, chemical or mechanical treatment, increases the deposition rate and significantly reduces power consumption.
