FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the internal combustion engines. Internal combustion engine (1) is provided with cylinder head (6) having controllable engine valve (8) configured to open/close combustion chamber (7) included in the combustion engine (1). Engine has valve actuator (10) configured to displace said engine valve (8), and a closed pressure fluid circuit. Valve actuator (10) is arranged in said closed pressure fluid circuit. Internal combustion engine (1) further comprises cylinder head chamber (13) that is included in said closed pressure fluid circuit and that is delimited by said cylinder head (6) and cylinder head mantle (14). Valve actuator (10) comprises a pneumatic pressure fluid circuit configured to actuate valve actuator (10) to displace controllable engine valve (8). Valve actuator (10) comprises pressure fluid an outlet (12). Outlet (12) is in fluid communication with cylinder head chamber (13). Cylinder head chamber (13) comprises hydraulic liquid drainage valve (36). Drainage conduit (37) stretches from hydraulic liquid drainage valve (36) to hydraulic liquid vessel of combustion engine (1) for draining hydraulic liquid accumulated in cylinder head chamber (13).
EFFECT: technical result is enabling mixing of pressure fluid and hydraulic liquid without adversely affecting the operation of the internal combustion engine.
