FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology, orthopedics and vertebrology. Lumbar sliding cage with supporting platforms, in which the increase in height is carried out by driving a screw pair. Cage is bean-shaped, dimensions 32 mm by 18 mm, height varies from 8 to 12 mm. Cage is introduced from TLIF and DLIF accessways. Cage includes a housing, a cap, an axial screw, two cylindrical nuts and a spring. Cover has four cylinder guides with the diameter of 0.3 cm and with the height of 0.6 cm. Housing has four openings with the diameter of 0.3 cm, into which the guide cylinders are inserted. Axial screw with the diameter of 0.4 cm and with the length of 3.2 cm from one side to the middle of the length has a straight thread, on the other hand to the middle - reverse thread, as well as the hexagonal slot with the diameter of 0.2 cm. Assembled design is fixed by a spring. When the screw is rotated clockwise, the base and the roof expand, with the reverse rotation of the axial screw, the base and the roof shear. Invention is acceptable for most anatomical variants of the lumbar spine.
EFFECT: invention provides for the replacement of the intervertebral space with the cage with varying height, in contact with the rough and upstream surfaces of the vertebrae, while maintaining horizontal stability during expansion.
