FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: interbody implant for stabilization of the cervical spine consists of a rectangular-section sleeve, has a leg connecting to a support plate in the form of a disc; a smooth rounded sleeve end facing the spinal canal. The opposite sleeve end contains spikes for rest against the bone of vertebra bodies and prevention of implant forward migration. The support plate in the form of a disc prevents excess immersion of the implant and its integration into the spinal canal. Two arc-shaped grooves are made on the support plate, two similar grooves are made in the sleeve for fixation of the implant in a holder of the following device. Parallel side surfaces of the implant in its wide horizontal plane are smooth, and there are saw-shaped cogs on side surfaces along its vertical plane. There is a through hole 6×7 mm between side surfaces along its vertical plane. The device for installation of the above-mentioned implant is an implant holder, which consists of a working part designed for gripping the implant and a T-shaped handle, which is two arc-shaped cogs with an outer diameter, located symmetrically opposite to each other.
EFFECT: inventions allow for provision of stabilization of the cervical spine, reliable stabilization of a vertebral-motor segment, including by an endoscopic and minimally invasive method, reduction in the risk of intraoperative complications.
