FIELD: nonwoven materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a nonwoven web and an article comprising such a nonwoven web. Said nonwoven web for use in absorbent articles, while the nonwoven web contains a first nonwoven layer containing the first plurality of fibers, the first side and the second side opposite the first side, a first plurality of apertures extending through the first nonwoven layer from the first side to the second side, wherein the first nonwoven layer contains an additive located at least partially on at least a part of the first plurality of fibers; and a second nonwoven layer comprising a second plurality of fibers, a first side and a second side opposite the first side, wherein the second nonwoven layer is attached to the first nonwoven layer so that at least a part of the second plurality of fibers is in liquid communication with the first plurality of apertures, wherein the first nonwoven layer is made hydrophobic, and the second nonwoven layer is made hydrophilic, while said additive contains a hydrophobic material, characterized by a hydrophilic-lipophilic balance value (HLB) from 0 to 4.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to create a nonwoven web that can be used as a top sheet of an absorbent article, providing soft touch to the user, as well as providing a good concealment of stains caused by menstrual flow / urine.
