FIELD: communication equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analog optical communication and can be used to transmit analog signals in terms of interference from the operation of high-power pulsed electrophysical devices, as well as to transmit analog signals over long distances (several kilometers). Essence of the invention lies in the fact that in the optical transmitter containing a semiconductor emitter, an amplifier with a differential input, non-inverting input of which is the input of the transmitter, the inverting input of the amplifier is connected to one of the pins of the semiconductor emitter through a feedback circuit, made according to the voltage divider circuit, the upper arm of the divider is connected to one of the emitter pins, the lower arm of the divider is connected to the common bus, the output of the divider is connected to the inverting input of the amplifier, the output of the amplifier is connected to one of the semiconductor emitter pins, new is that at least one of the divider arms has a nonlinear current-voltage characteristic that compensates for the nonlinearity of the dependence of the output power on the current of the semiconductor emitter.
EFFECT: expanding the linear dynamic range of the optical transmitter and, accordingly, improving the reliability of the transmission of the analog signal form by the device.
