FIELD: plasma technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a plasma technique and can be used in the field of atomic emission spectral analysis, during heat treatment of powder materials, in metallurgy to monitor the state of melting in real time according to the composition of the exhaust gases, and also as an atomizer of powder materials for adjusting the trajectory of spacecraft. In the method of manufacturing a plasma-forming heads of six-jet plasmatron arc it is provided that all metal-intensive sections of plasma-forming heads are made of thin-sheet copper in the form of separate conical billets, hermetically joined by cold welding by means of crimping, and parts in contact with the resulting electric arc discharge are made of copper bar, hermetically attached to the pressed billets by soldering the threaded connection. Cooling system of the plasma-forming heads and the alignment of their sections are implemented by means of a dielectric mounting plate, containing a series of water-guiding channels, providing sequential cooling of all sections, centered coaxially with the annular projections of the mounting plate.
EFFECT: technical result is a reduction in the mass of copper used while reducing the mass of plasma-forming heads.
