SUBSTANCE: invention relates to body communication systems and can be used in communication systems with a limited coverage area. Body communication system (100) is disclosed, which comprises first device (110) and second device (130). First device (110) comprises first body communication interface (114) to form body communication network (170) through body transmission channel (160) extending through user's body (150), when first body communication interface (114) is in close proximity to user's body (150). Second device (130) comprises second body communication interface (134) to form body communication network (170) with first device (110) through body transmission channel (160), when second body communication interface (134) is in close proximity to user (150). First and second body communication interfaces (114, 134) transmit information to each other through body transmission channel (160). Body communication system (100) is configured to provide additional protection for user (150) of body communication system (100) in order to prevent unauthorised use of first device (110) or second device (130).

EFFECT: enabling prompt notification of the absence of a second device.
