FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optical instrumentation, in particular, to installations for determining the main protective and operational performance of safety goggles used in the presence of production factors that are harmful and hazardous to eyes, namely, to determine the fogging of the glasses of safety goggles under conditions close to their actual operation. Stated installation for determining the fogging of glasses of goggles consists of a hollow head layout with safety goggles, a humid air supply system and a photometric circuit including a gate-modulator, a light source and a mirror reflector. Global barcode, placed between the gate-modulator and a hollow head model with protective glasses, and a barcode reader of information, electrically connected with the hardware-software complex, are additionally introduced into the photometric circuit.
EFFECT: technical result is improving the accuracy of determining the fogging of the glasses of safety goggles.
