FIELD: vehicle equipment and accessories.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a winter tyre. Vehicle tyre (1) comprises a tread designed for contact with base (P) during rolling, wherein said tread is formed with a tread pattern comprising annular and transverse grooves for removing water from the contact patch of the tyre with the base, and also comprises anti-skid spikes (3), mounted in the tread and including spike body (4) and carbide pin (5), fixed in the spike body. End of carbide pin (5), intended for contact with the base, is made in the form of beveled surface (51), whereby carbide pin (5) has an end provided with a beveled surface (51) and acting on the base at a different depth in the axial direction (A) of carbide pin (5), wherein said bevelled surface (51) is so oriented relative to direction (DR) of tyre rotation, such that when tyre freely (1) rolls forward, front edge (511) of carbide pin (5), which first collides with the base, is lower than rear edge (512).
EFFECT: improved tyre adhesion to the winter road with minimal impact on the road surface.
