FIELD: vehicle equipment and accessories.
SUBSTANCE: method installing anti-skid stud (100) in automobile tyre (200) includes providing substance (130) between anti-skid stud (100) and tyre (200), wherein said substance is activated to form an adhesive substance when the temperature exceeds the boundary temperature. Anti-skid stud (100) is inserted into recess (210) under the stud means of installation tool (300). Anti-skid stud (100) is then subjected to mechanical vibrations with an ultrasonic frequency to heat substance (130) between anti-skid stud (100) and recess (210) under stud to a temperature higher than the boundary temperature in order to activate adhesive capacity of substance (130).
EFFECT: higher adhesion strength between the anti-skid stud and the tyre.
