SUBSTANCE: invention relates to studded tires. At least two zones formed in circumferential direction of tire occupy entire width of tread (2) and are equipped with different anti-skid pins (5) with different cross-section of studs (59). In icing conditions, anti-skid pins (5) used in central zone (21) provide improved adhesion to the road in longitudinal direction, and anti-skid pins (5) used in edge zone (22) provide improved adhesion to the road in transverse direction.
EFFECT: improved adhesion of the tire to snow-covered and icy roads.
