Device contains a power source, a measuring electrode, an auxiliary electrode-anode, at that, it is equipped with the chain-link, made in the form of the pipeline insulating layer, cathode current control sensor, an analog-digital converter, an interface and a computer, at that, the measuring electrode is in series connected to the cathode current control sensor, analog-digital converter, interface and computer, the analog-digital converter output is connected to the power source input, and the insulating layer is connected to the auxiliary electrode-anode.
EFFECT: increase in the gas pipelines electrochemical protection against corrosion operation safety and control efficiency.
