FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: claimed group of inventions relates to the processing of metals by pressure, in particular, to pressing equipment for imparting flatness to a flat billet. Deforming unit of the press die has a pressing surface facing the flat billet. It is made in the form of halves separated from each other by weakening of the material, which are connected to each other, on the one hand, with the help of a bending bridge, and on the other hand, using a common actuator for the elastic deformation of the pressing surface of the press die unit depending on the flatness defect.
EFFECT: proposed group of inventions, which relates to the processing of metals by pressure.
