FIELD: metals processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the processing of metals by pressure and can be used in the production of hot-formed structural elements. The device contains a fixed lower and movable upper working parts, a cooling tool and a press die. The die is located downstream of the cooling tool. A mechanism for transporting the workpiece from the cooling tool to the press die is provided. The cooling tool comprises an upper gas cooling tool connected to the movable upper working part and/or a lower gas cooling tool connected to the stationary lower working part. The press die contains an upper pressing die connected to the upper working part and a lower pressing die connected to the lower working part.
EFFECT: shortening the time of transportation of the workpiece from the cooling tool to the press die and constant uniform cooling of the workpiece during the production process are ensured.
