FIELD: rocket and space technology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to rocket and space technology and can be used in conducting experimental studies in the physical modeling of the evaporation process of liquid fuel residues in the tanks of separable parts of launch vehicle stages. Method is disclosed for modeling the process of heat and mass transfer during the evaporation of a liquid with a free surface in a closed container, based on the pressure of the vapor-gas mixture, heat and ultrasound, measurement of pressure values and temperatures of the gas-vapor mixture, liquid and walls of a closed vessel. Pressure effect is carried out by pumping the vapor-gas mixture from a closed vessel with pressure fixation on the values at which intensive formation of bubbles of a liquid is observed; to increase the pressure using a vapor-gas mixture with a given humidity or neutral gas; the effect of heat flow is carried out by changing the power of the electric heater and the duration of its impact; The effect of ultrasound on the temperature rise of a liquid in a closed container is determined by excluding the component used to mix the liquid from the total ultrasonic power. Also disclosed is a device for implementing a method for simulating the process of heat and mass transfer.
EFFECT: group of inventions allows to obtain experimental data that will allow to study the parameters of heat and mass transfer, in particular to obtain a regression equation describing the rate of evaporation of a liquid as a function of pressure, temperature, parameters of ultrasonic influence.
