FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: nozzle plate includes a nozzle base including a plurality of nozzle holes formed therein, the plurality of nozzle holes serving as nozzles, from which drops are produced; and a liquid repellent film of a liquid repelling material formed on the surface of the outlet of the nozzle base drops, moreover, the liquid repellent material contains a liquid repellent group. Each of the plurality of nozzle holes includes a straight part of the hole, while the straight part of the hole is adjacent to the surface of the droplets outlet of the nozzle base and has a constant diameter in the thickness direction of the nozzle base. Liquid repellent group, which is part of the liquid repellent material, is attached to the inner wall of the nozzle of the straight part.
EFFECT: when pure water is supplied to the nozzle hole, the pure water meniscus remains in the straight part of the hole.
