FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to moulded articles having a tubular structure (fuel tube, fuel line, fuel hose or connector) with high barrier properties based on polyamide resin, and a method of producing same, and intended for use for liquid fuels. Moulded article comprises a fuel barrier layer formed from a resin composition containing a polyamide resin (A) as a continuous phase and a resin (B) as a dispersed phase. Polyamide resin (A) is a polyamide resin (A1) containing at least one of the constituent unit derived from lactam having from 10 to 12 carbon atoms, and constituent unit derived from aminocarboxylic acid having from 10 to 12 carbon atoms, or polyamide resin (A2), containing a unit derived from an aliphatic diamine containing from 6 to 12 carbon atoms, and constituent unit derived from aliphatic dicarboxylic acid containing from 10 to 12 carbon atoms. Polyamide resin (B) is a resin selected from semi-aromatic polyamide resin. Ratio by volume of resin (A) to resin (B) ranges from 95/5 to 51/49. Average diameter of the dispersed particles (B) is 150 nm or more.
EFFECT: invention provides moulded articles with excellent flexibility and excellent barrier properties, such as resistance to fuel penetration.
