SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system and method for calculating the attainable mileage of a vehicle. System for calculating the attainable mileage for a vehicle includes a mileage history database in which the first data is stored, including the history of electrical energy consumption of a given vehicle, and the second data, which includes the history of the electrical energy consumption of a plurality of vehicles other than a given vehicle; and an arithmetic unit configured to calculate the attainable mileage of a given vehicle using at least either the first data or the second data. Arithmetic unit is configured to set the utilization rate between the first data and the second data in accordance with the user's action of the given vehicle when calculating the attainable mileage of the given vehicle.
