FIELD: optical fibers.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of optical fibers. Small-diameter optical fiber preserving the state of polarization includes a quartz optical fiber, around the outer shell of which there is an inner coating layer and an outer coating layer, and in the inner envelope of a quartz optical fiber there is a core and a quartz envelope, between which there are stress zones; between the layers of the inner and outer coating is a layer of buffer coating. On the periphery of each voltage zone there is a coaxial protective buffer layer. When the working wavelength of the optical fiber with preservation of small-diameter polarization is 1310 nm, the attenuation decreases to less than 0.5 dB/km, and the crosstalk reaches -35 dB/km; at the working wavelength, equal to 1550 nm, the attenuation is reduced to less than 0.4 dB/km, and the crosstalk attenuation reaches -30 dB/km.
EFFECT: technical result – resistance to fading and stability of operation for a long time, improving accuracy.
