FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of gas cleaning and can be used in the metallurgical, chemical industry, thermal power plants. To reduce the material content of the particles in the exhaust gases from the method of producing carbon black, the exhaust gases are burned to produce burned exhaust gases containing particles. Catalytic oxidation of the particulate material is carried out to remove particulate material from the burnt exhaust gases using a protective layer containing an oxidation catalyst. System comprises a combustion device and a device for removing particulate material.

EFFECT: thermodynamic efficiency and increase in the degree of material extraction in the form of particles from flue gases are provided.
