SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to chemical-pharmaceutical industry and presents pharmaceutical composition for treatment or prevention of neurological damage after stroke and traumatic damage to the central nervous system, including an emulsion of progestogen and/or estrogen such as oil-in-water, wherein the oil component comprises glycerides of eicosapentane and docosahexaenoic acid in an amount of at least 45 % by weight of the total amount of the oil component, and medium chain triglycerides in an amount of 5–50 % by weight of the total amount of the oil component.
