SUBSTANCE: clamp comprising rolled-up metal band (10) and through-hoop (12) held at the first end of the band and forming, on the outer side of the first end, passage (13) into which the second end of the band can be inserted over the first end, second end of the band thus inserted can be stamped in order to engage with at least one of the elements comprising through-hoop (12) and first end (10A) of the band, so as to be held in place against movement in the direction in which the diameter of the band clamp is increased. Hoop (12) comprises at least one radially-projecting outer tab (20, 22) in the form of a hook.
EFFECT: providing a collar that can be more easily positioned accurately relative to the clamping tool.
