SUBSTANCE: clamp comprising rolled-up metal band (10) and through-hoop (12) held at the first end of the band. On the outer side, the hoop forms passage (13) into which the second end of band (10B) is inserted. Hoop includes inner part (14) that is disposed against the inner surface of the first end of the band, and transverse wedging edge (14A) that cooperates with a transverse wedging edge (16A) at the first end of the band that defines wedging recess (16). Second end (10B) of the band has transverse retaining edge (11) that is received in wedging recess (16) and abuts against retaining edge (17A) of the recess.

EFFECT: object is achieved by means of the fact that the second end of the strap has a retaining transverse stop received in the blocking setback and co-operating in abutment with a retaining edge of said blocking setback to retain the second end of the strap to prevent it from moving in the direction in which the diameter of the collar increases.
