SUBSTANCE: invention relates mainly to the furniture industry. Method for producing decorated wooden boards includes the following steps: a) sprinkling glued wood fibres or wood chips to form a wooden material cake, b) pressing the wooden material cake under the influence of elevated temperature to form a support plate without processing after pressing, which has a press skin which arises during the production thereof on one of the upper sides thereof, c) applying a base coat made from a melamine-based liquid resin to the untreated press skin of the upper side of the support plate, wherein the resin penetrates into the upper surface layer of the support plate and partially penetrates and improves the press skin, d) drying the base coat, e) applying a base colour to the base coat layer, f) drying the base colour, g) applying a water-based printing ink enriched with pigments onto the dried base colour in order to produce a decorative pattern, h) drying the decorative pattern and i) applying a seal made from melamine-based resin to the decorative layer, j) drying the seal, k) pressing the support plate with the base coat applied on the upper side, base colour, decorative pattern and seal and with a stabilising layer applied on the lower side with the application of pressure and temperature in order to form a laminate. Novelty is that base colour used is water-based ink, which is applied to the dried base coat via a digital printing device, and the resin is applied in a liquid form.
