SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a modified polymer composition. Mixture of stabilizers for modifying an olefin-based polymer is described, where the specified olefin-based polymer is selected from a group consisting of polyethylene, polypropylene, and combinations thereof, including: at least one organic phosphorus-containing antioxidant represented by a formula selected from the group consisting of formulas (1), (2), (3), (4), (5), (6), (7) and (8), and at least one sulfur-containing carboxylate salt, moreover, in the case when at least one organic phosphorus-containing antioxidant is represented by a formula selected from the group consisting of formulas (2), (3), (4), (5), (6), (7) and (8), said at least one sulfur-containing carboxylate salt is represented by a formula selected from the group consisting of formulas (9), (10), (11) and (12); and in the case where at least one organic phosphorus-containing antioxidant is represented by formula (1), said at least one sulfur-containing carboxylate salt is represented by a formula selected from the group consisting of formulas (10) and (12). Also a modified polymer composition is described comprising an olefin-based polymer selected from polyethylene, polypropylene, and combinations thereof; and the above mixture of stabilizers.

EFFECT: ensuring increased stability of the modified polymer composition to a change in colour and melting index, ensuring stability during processing of the polymer composition, and also giving it satisfactory physical properties.
