FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the internal combustion engines. Valve train for an internal combustion engine comprises valve controller (12, 13, 24) and valve (5) for opening and closing flow-through channel (4). Valve (5) and channel (4) are arranged in cylinder head (2) of the internal combustion engine. Valve controller (12, 13, 24) acts on an opening and closing movement of valve (5). Valve controller (12), (13), (24) comprises adjustable valve clearance compensation element (27). In order to adjust and control the valve clearance, valve clearance compensation element (27) comprises a variable in its spatial expansion element (30) and cam shaft pressure sensing element (31; 32). Disclosed is a method for a valve train of an internal combustion engine and method for a valve clearance compensating element of a valve train.
EFFECT: technical result is the possibility of operation of the valve train almost without clearance.
