SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the internal combustion engines. Internal combustion engine has at least one exhaust valve (1) actuated via cam shaft and transmission mechanism (3), (4), (5) per each cylinder. Between the cam shaft and outlet valve (1) there is hydraulic element (6) for compensation of the valve clearance in transfer mechanism (3), (4), (5). Engine braking device has engine brake using exhaust gas pressure, to create counter pressure of exhaust gases and decompression brake, by means of which at least in engine braking phase exhaust valve can be held in open state. Decompression brake is formed by hydraulic element (6) for compensation of valve clearance. Engine also has device (10) for limiting rotation frequency, which is configured to deactivate fuel injection above a predetermined frequency (n1) of rotation limited by the regulator. Transfer mechanism (3), (4), (5), motor brake using exhaust gas head, and hydraulic element (6) for compensation of valve clearance are designed so that limit frequency (n2) of rotation, starting from which in the mode of braking by the engine in the phase of the main cam of the cam there is occurrence of a gap between outlet valve (1) and the seat of the valve belonging to it, by value of difference (Δn) is higher than frequency (n1) of rotation limited by regulator. Disclosed is a car, in particular an industrial vehicle having an internal combustion engine.
EFFECT: technical result consists in simplification of design and improvement of compactness of motor brake and automatic compensator of valve clearance.
