FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the manufacture of parts from powder. At first, a first quantity of the powder is heated to a temperature above its melting point by means of a high-energy beam and a first bath containing melted powder and a support portion is formed on the support surface. Then, a second quantity of powder is heated to a temperature above its melting point and a second bath is formed on the surface of the support, containing melted powder and a support portion and located downstream of the first bath. After that, this step is repeated to form the first layer of the part. Then, subsequent layers are also formed to obtain the details of the final form. Further, the powder jet and the high-energy beam are essentially coaxial, with the powder particles reaching each bath at a temperature that is lower than the bath temperature.
EFFECT: increase in the stability of the bath, the mass melting ratio, the defect-free nature of the material and the rate of layer formation is provided.
