FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the manufacture of a part by melting or sintering powder particles by means of a high-energy beam. Single powder is used, the particles of which have a sphericity in the range from 0.8 to 1.0 and a shape factor in the range from 1 to √2. Each powder particle has a substantially identical average composition. Size distribution of the particles of said powder is narrowed about the mean diameter d50 % with compliance with given expressions. Composition of the powder used includes at least one additional chemical element with a non-zero content, which is less than 0.5 wt%, providing modification of the microstructure of said material of the part, which is obtained from said material, compared to the microstructure, receiving in case, wherein said additional chemical element is absent being a part of powder. Said powder particles provide reinforcing elements, and said additional chemical element facilitates the wetting of the reinforcing elements with a liquid formed during the melting of a part of the powder particles with a high-energy beam.

EFFECT: discrete reinforcement of the part is provided.
