SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an installation for heating bottom blocks when mounting the bottom of an aluminum electrolysis cell. Installation includes a furnace with lined walls and a roof, a block heating system mounted on the roof, and a device for loading and unloading blocks. Furnace is made of several sections, separated from each other by insulating walls, fixed parallel to the longitudinal walls of the furnace, while the end walls of the furnace are lined in the upper part, and in their middle part at least one row of split curtains is fixed, the lower part of the furnace is not lined, the heating system of the blocks is made of electric heaters mounted on the roof of each section of the furnace and equipped with temperature control sensors; the device for loading and unloading the blocks is made of two or more parallel rows of horizontal carriage conveyors, the trolleys installed on the conveyor are interconnected in pairs with the possibility of stopping one trolley under the roof of the furnace.

EFFECT: improvement of the operational characteristics of the installation, increase in the uniformity of heating of the bottom blocks and increase the reliability and safety of its work.
