FIELD: furnaces.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tandem reflecting furnace for remelting of aluminum scrap. Furnace comprises a housing formed by fire-resistant outer side, front and rear end walls, two collection baths and two inclined platforms made of corundum blocks KC-95, laid on three layers of heat insulation, limited by the bottom and walls, two large roofs above each bath, having heat insulation, gas duct and welded frame, on which everything is arranged. Frame with heat insulation is filled with concrete with asbestos crumb filler. Stainless steel box with heat insulation between it and every wall is welded to the furnace frame. In each side wall there are two injection two-row twenty-four-mix medium-pressure burners directed at an angle to inclined platform and bottom and to axis of furnace, and in rear wall – two injection two-row twenty-four-mix medium-pressure burners directed at an angle to hearth. In front end wall and in side walls there are four working windows, two of which can serve as slag windows equipped with hydraulic drives for lifting and lowering working shutters of furnace, in the rear end wall there are flanges lined with turning bowls with lined pivot chutes welded to them, which are installed with possibility of rotation during liquid metal pouring. Furnace is configured to operate on natural and artificial draft with dust-and-gas cleaning system.
EFFECT: providing high efficiency of the furnace, reduction of heat and loss losses and possibility of ecologically pure remelting of aluminum scrap.
