FIELD: astronautics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space technology and can be used to protect a spacecraft from an actively approaching object. Protection of the spacecraft from collision with an actively approaching object is carried out by registering a continuous sequence of signals with an increasing amplitude in the optical range of the spectrum, which allows to determine the spatial orientation of the actively approaching object. Protection is carried out with the help of a screen – a cloud of a fine fraction from polymeric particles with metallic spraying, reflecting radiation and masking the protected spacecraft.
EFFECT: technical result is to protect and prevent the collision of a spacecraft and an object actively approaching it.
