SUBSTANCE: method includes the following steps: identifying the first voltage value of the charging port, when it is determined that the charger is inserted into the charging port of the terminal using the charging cable; establishing the second charging current; identifying the second voltage value of the charging port at the second charging current; calculating the cable impedance of the charging cable according to the first voltage value, second charging current and second voltage value; and setting up a suitable charging current of the charger according to the cable impedance of the charging cable.
EFFECT: providing the terminal with the possibility of adaptation to different chargers, which improves the user experience of charging.
