SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to electric equipment resistant to arcs, such as, for example, power supplies, transformers and circuit breakers. Conductive elements (104A-C) are placed inside housing (100) of the electrical device. Conductive elements (104A-C) are arranged so that in the case of electric arc (106) arising between conductive elements (104A-C), Electromagnetic force acts on the plasma of electric arc (106) so that electric arc (106) is directed to wall (108) of housing (100). In addition, conductor arrangement (102) includes conductors (104A, 104B, 104C) and sacrificial electrodes (118A-C), housed inside electrical device housing (100), in which conductors (104A-C) are arranged so that in the case of electric arc (106) arising between conductors (104A-C), electromagnetic force acts on the plasma of electric arc (105) so that electric arc (106) is directed to sacrificial electrodes (118A-C).
EFFECT: technical result consists in reliable and controlled movement/direction of the electric arc to the area (in particular, the housing), where the damage is significantly reduced and monitored, and the arc is extinguished.
