FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical and pharmaceutical industry, namely to a method for preparing a saponin-containing extract. Method of obtaining saponin-containing extract includes prespotting of crushed roots of Glycyrrhiza glabra L. in aqueous solution of ethanol, extraction for 5–7 minutes at a temperature of 40 °C and exposure to ultrasound, filtration, under certain conditions.
EFFECT: above mentioned method allows to increase the yield of saponins in the extract and its functional properties, as well as to reduce the receipt time of the product.
