SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, specifically to a method for isolating cells of hair follicle derived non-bulbar dermal sheath (NBDS) cells, and can be used in medicine. Non-bulbar dermal sheath tissue, obtained from viable hair on the back of the head, is subjected to enzymatic cleavage followed by culturing the isolated non-bulbar dermal sheath tissue in an environment that stimulates cell proliferation, to produce NBDS cells.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain NBDS cells that synthesize collagen and are suitable for use in the treatment of injuries to tendons.
