FIELD: motor vehicle industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a cabin heating and vehicle engine cooling system. To heat an engine, a coolant is pumped from a coolant tank to an exhaust system component, and then to a heater radiator. Coolant is heated using said component. In warm-up conditions the engine regulates coolant flow through the heater radiator so as to maximise heat transfer to the vehicle interior. System comprises an engine, an exhaust gas recirculation channel that comprises a recirculation system cooler and a system valve. Interior heating system comprises a heater radiator and a circulation pump and controller.
EFFECT: control of coolant flow.
