FIELD: mining industry, possible use for extracting deposits of mineral resources.
SUBSTANCE: method includes opening-up using cutting trenches and underground mines driven from the bottom and sides of cutting trenches with division of inter-trench space onto blocks processed by underground method. On separation limit of inter-trench massif onto separately processed blocks additional intermediate trenches are drives for depth of sediments, in which mouths of phalanx preparatory mines of various technological purposes are founded, and following extraction is performed with conservation of coal blocks for protecting intermediate trenches from undermining with width not less than width of intermediate trench, and height of coal block not less than size of rock shifting zone.
EFFECT: increased safety of underground operations.
