FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to elongated electric motors, in particular, pumps for the production of fluids from wells. System contains an electric drive, submersible electric pump (SEP) and power cable. SEP contains a pump and a motor. SEP motor has a stator and at least two rotor sections with permanent magnets. Within each of the sections many permanent magnets are located in two or more rows. Each row is aligned in axial direction. Adjacent sections are synchronized angularly relative to each other so that the rows of magnets within one of the sections are offset around the circumference from the respective rows of magnets within the other adjacent section by a predetermined angle. During operation, the rows of magnets in different sections counteract harmonic feedback or use torsional deformation to equalize the torque contributions from different sections. Each section has a pair of locking rings. Rings are mounted on opposite ends of the section, thereby securely securing the set of rotor plates and the many magnets between the rings. Each ring is fixed so as to align with the shaft groove on the common rotor shaft, and thereby maintains a predetermined angular displacement of the section relative to the adjacent section of the rotor.
EFFECT: inventions are aimed at improving the efficiency and engine power output.
