FIELD: motor vehicle industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of transport engineering, in particular to disc brakes, and can be used as actuators for the braking system of a wheeled vehicle. Disc brake of the vehicle contains a brake disc, located on both sides of it brake pads, which are mounted on the bearing supports. Bearings are placed on the brake caliper, which also has a hydraulic cylinder. Brake caliper is mounted on a bracket rigidly connected to the unsprung mass of the vehicle. Bracket is made in the form of an elastic arcuate plate with a variable cross section over the entire length, which allows the brake caliper to be movable and to move in the axial direction parallel to the brake disc and perpendicular to the friction surface of the disc.
EFFECT: increased reliability and safety of disc brakes, improved braking efficiency and reduced operating costs are achieved.
