FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of rolling strips with a thickness of 1–1.5 mm on a broadband mill of a casting and rolling complex. Method comprises the smelting of flat continuously cast strip billet, its cutting into measured lengths, followed by heating in a tunnel kiln and piece-by-piece rolling of the heated blanks in the stands of the rough and finishing group of the continuous mill, with subsequent rolling of the obtained strips into a roll. Improving the flatness of the strip is ensured by the use of continuously cast billets with a width of not more than 0.75 of the length of the working rolls of the stands of the finishing group of the mill, a series of transitional strips with a regulated thickness is produced; interstand cooling of the rolled stock in the finishing mill group is turned off when rolling strips with thickness of 1.7±0.25 mm or less, and the value of unit relative reductions is reduced from the first stand of the finishing group to the last one during rolling, at the same time, in the last finishing stand, the value of a single relative compression is set to not more than 0.7 from the value of a single relative reduction in the penultimate finishing stand.
EFFECT: temperature conditions of rolling and composition of steel billets are regulated.
