FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method includes slab heating, its rolling with finishing temperature 780-840°C, differentiate cooling and winding into reel of received strip. Receiving of specified mechanical properties, particularly it concerns yield point σt not less 355 N/mm2 at extension strain δ5 more than 25% is provided ensured by temperature conditions regulation of hot rolling in roughing train and deformative rolling schedule in broad-strip mill finishing train depending on strip finite thickness. While hot rolling of wide strips of thickness 8-16 mm made of steel with carbon content 0.14-0.20% and silicon 0.15-0.25% are regulated depending on relation of strip finite thickness rolling temperature conditions in roughing train, at that finishing temperature in roughing train is held in the range 1030-1100°C. At strip rolling in broad-strip mill finishing train it is regulated value of singular percent reduction by trains depending on strip finite thickness in the range from 10 till 16%.
EFFECT: providing of specified complex of mechanical properties in hot-rolled metal of wide hot-rolled strips of thickness 8-16 mm, provided for the following manufacturing of galvanised joist webs for building structure.
