FIELD: rolled stock production, possibly manufacture of wide hot rolled strips.
SUBSTANCE: process comprises steps of heating slab for hot rolling; rolling it in rough and finish continuous groups of stands; cooling strip by means of water fed up and down with use of sections of sprinkling apparatus in outlet roller table for further coiling of strip. In finish group of stands rolling is realized with total percentage reduction 92 - 95% while simultaneously total percentage reduction value is normalized during two last passes in finish group of rolling mill at temperature of rolling process termination in range 870 - 900° C. Rolled strip is subjected to different-intensity cooling on outlet roller table due to delaying water supply onto it. Metal temperature before coiling strips is set in range 660 - 690°C for rolled piece to be rolled to sheet metal subjected to further heat treatment in hood furnaces. Metal temperature is set in range 710 - 740°C for rolled piece to be rolled to sheet metal subjected to further heat treatment in continuous annealing aggregates. Leading end of strips coiled on drum is guided at speed 510 -570 m/min with further acceleration no more than 0.02 m/s. Speed is increased depending upon final thickness of rolled piece by value 9 -12 m/min for each 0.1 mm of rolled piece thickness. Invention provides desired properties of "double width" rolled piece produced from continuously cast slab killed with aluminum and used for further rolling it to sheet metal after slitting rolled piece by two halves.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of hot rolling process, normalized temperature and speed parameters of hot rolling in finish group of stands, cooling strip and coiling it depending upon its final thickness and type of heat treatment, possibility for controlling deformation value of wide strip.
