FIELD: satisfaction of human vital requirements.

SUBSTANCE: bait dispensing device (1) for use in fishing is adapted to be cast with line (3) and to open in the water, to allow dispensing of bait (2). Device comprises container (4), adapted to house therein said bait (2) during casting, the shell of which is divided into two halves (14, 24), fastening means (7, 8, 10, 11) of said container (4) to said line (3) and reversible closing means (5, 6, 16) for said container (4). Said reversible closing means (5, 6, 16) use the attraction force of a magnetic field active between said two half-shells (14, 24). Said fastening means of said container to said line comprise two threadlike elements (7, 8) of the same length, each having two ends (7', 7'', 8', 8''), where each first end (7', 8') is associated with one of said half-shells (14, 24), and second ends (7'', 8'') are associated with the other for simultaneous association with said line (3). Said half-shells (14, 24) are adapted to separate completely from each other due to the action of the resisting force caused by friction with the water during sinking of bait dispensing device (1).

EFFECT: invention provides bait dispensing.
