FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to metal treatment under pressure, in particular, to induction bending of a pressure-resistant pipe. Pipe is compressed in the press unit before entering the annular inductor to heat it vertically, the cross-section in the form of the lying letter O is forcibly provided to the pipe. In addition, during pipe bending by means of lateral displacement of the inductor, a temperature profile with lower temperature on the outer side of the arc and with higher temperature on the inner side of the arc is installed.
EFFECT: geometric shape of the pipe is improved and the bent pipe strength is increased.
